The answer is Photosphere. The photosphere is the lowest layer of the solar atmosphere. It is essentially the solar "surface" that we see when we look at the Sun in "white" light. It is like a glowing fog, so at a distance, it looks solid, the same way a cloud looks solid from a distance.

please and and thanks

A chemical formula shows the kinds and numbers of _____ in the smallest representative unit of a substance.
Firdavs [7]

A chemical formula shows the kinds and numbers of atoms in the smallest representative unit of a substance.

Explanation:

In chemistry, a formula unit is the empirical formula of "ionic or covalent network solid compound" that is used as an independent entity for "stoichiometric calculations". This formula is a representation of a molecule that uses chemical symbols.

The unit is the lowest whole number ratio of ions represented in an ionic compound. It gives the numbers of atoms representing the "smallest representative" unit of a substance. The number of atoms also tells us about the chemical and physical properties of the compound formed.

What is the number of moles in 500L of He gas at STP
kompoz [17]
Ah, this is actually a fairly simple chemistry question.

Recall that at STP, one mole is equivalent to 22.4 L. Knowing this, all you have to do is divide 500 L by 22.4 L to find the number of moles:

500/22.4 = 22.3 mol

Place the following covalent bonds in order from least to most polar: a. H-Cl b. H-Br c. H-S d. H-C
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

The Order is as follow,

                                     C-H < S-H < H-Br < H-Cl

Explanation:

                      Polarity depends on the electronegativity difference between two atoms, greater the electronegativity difference, greater will be the polarity of bond and vice versa.

Electronegativity Difference between Hydrogen and other given elements are as follow,

1) C-H;

               E.N of Carbon     = 2.55

               E.N of Hydrogen = 2.20

                                           ------------

               Difference              0.35

2) S-H;

               E.N of Sulfur       = 2.58

               E.N of Hydrogen = 2.20

                                           ------------

               Difference               0.38

3) H-Br;

               E.N of Bromine   = 2.96

               E.N of Hydrogen = 2.20

                                          -------------

               Difference              0.76

4) H-Cl;

               E.N of Chlorine   = 3.16

               E.N of Hydrogen = 2.20

                                           -----------

               Difference               0.96

Hence it is proved that the greatest electronegativity difference is found between H and Chlorine in H-Cl, therefore it is highly polar bond and vice versa.

Which element does X represent in the following expression: 2512X?
pogonyaev
I bet this is the notation used in nuclear reactions. The superscript represents the mass number while the subscript represents the atomic number of the element X. So, we find the element with an atomic number of 12. That would be Magnesium or Mg.
