Second hand smoke contains both the smoke that comes from a cigarette and smoke breathed out by a smoker. Anyone who are exposed to this is no excuse of acquiring health problems such as cancer, heart disease and breathing problems. So the things that you should do to solve the problem of exposure to your mom's secondhand smoke in the house is to explain to your mom how it has been bothering you and the possible risks that it will give. If not, ask your mom to limit smoking or to assign a certain area where she can smoke. But, the best thing that you should do is to help your mom realize how bad smoking is for her health and also for the people around her.
