Answer:

Explanation:

DNA is made up of molecules called nucleotides. Most people DNA is located in the cell nucleus where it is called nuclear DNA, but a little amount of DNA can also be discovered in the mitochondria (where it is called mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA). Mitochondria are structures inside the cells that convert the energy from food into a form that cell can use.

Now I don't know if this is a multiple choice question so Hope this help

How does an electromagnet become permanent
love history [14]
A moving electrical charge produces a magnetic field and a moving magnetic field produces an electrical field. An electromagnet works by coiling a bunch of wire and spinning a couple of magnets around that wire at high speeds. When this occurs the magnets induce an electric current in the wire and hence the electricity production. Once the magnets stop spinning, the induced electrical field dissipates and the current stops flowing through the wire.

A 76 N crate is hung from a spring
lutik1710 [3]

Answer: 0.169 (3 s.f.)

Explanation:

Force = 76 N

Spring constant = 450 N/m

Extension/displacement = x

Hooke's law states that: F = kx

Therefore, 76 = 450 X x

76/450 = x

0.169 (3 s.f.) = x

An object has a weight of 9 n when it is in air and 7.2 n when it is submerged into water. what is the specific gravity of the o
White raven [17]

The specific gravity of the object’s material is 5.09.

To calculate the specific gravity of the object:

Weight difference = 9 - 7.2 = 1.8 N = Buoyant force of water

Buoyant Force in water(Fb) = density of water x g x volume of the body(Vb)

1.8 = 1000 x 9.81 x Vb

Vb = 1.8/9810 cubic meter

Now, in the air;

Weight of body = mg = 9 N

Mass of body,m = 9/9.81 Kg

So,

Density of body = m/ Vb

= 9/9.81 ÷ 1.8/9810

= 5094.44 kg per cubic meter

The specific gravity of body = density of body ÷ density of water

= 5094.44 ÷ 1000

= 5.09

Therefore, Specific gravity of body = 5.09

A man attempts to pick up his suitcase of weight ws by pulling straight up on the handle. (See Figure 1) However, he is unable t
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

Normal force, N = W_s - F

Explanation:

Let w_s is the weight of suitcase. A man attempts to pick up his suitcase by pulling straight up on the handle. The weight of the suitcase in downward direction. The normal force is acting in upward direction. Let F is the force with which it is pulled straight up.

So, the normal force is given by :

N = W_s - F

N = mg - F

mg is the weight of the suitcase.

Hence, this is the required solution.
