Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

Change in speed = (speed at the end) - (speed at the beginning)

Change in speed = (10 mph) - (50 mph) = -40 mph

Acceleration = (-40 mi/hr) / (4 sec)

Acceleration = -10 mi/hr-sec

To get a more comfortable, familiar unit for the answer . . .

Acceleration =

(-10 mile/hour-second) x (1,609.3 meter/mile) x (1 hour / 3,600 sec)

Acceleration = (-10 x 1,609.3 / 3,600) (mile-meter-hour / hour-sec-mile-sec)

Acceleration = -4.47 m/s²

PROVE THAT G = GM/R² WHERE THE SYMBOLS HAS THEIR USUAL MEANINGS

butalik [34]

Answer:

g=GM/R^2

Universal Gravutation Constant:

f=GM×m/R^2

Force can be also expressed as

f=m×g

so,

mg=GMxm/R^2

The m gets cancelled so

g=GM/R^2

What combination of variables will make an experiment the most reliable
Virty [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

A combination of two controlled variables will make an experiment the most reliable.

Variables are the values that we take under any circumstance while doing an experiment so that we can keep on changing and get new results at the end.

It is important to have them in pair so that two values can be kept on changing in terms of any constant condition. This will help to get better results in over all experiment data.

Calculate the increase in potential energy of a 60.0-kg man who climbs a ladder 10.0 meters high
andriy [413]

Potential energy = (mass) · (gravity) · (height)

PE = (60 kg) · (9.8 m/s²) · (10 m)

PE = (60 · 9.8 · 10) · (kg · m²/s² )

PE = 5,880 joules
