The fracture is usually referred to as the tendency of breaking or separation of materials in an uneven or irregular pattern. Glasses also breaks in an irregular manner. The fracture that occurs in glass are mainly of two types. They are as follows-

(1) Concentric fracture- When fractures in the glass produces circular lines, then they are known as concentric fractures.

(2) Radial fracture- When fractures in glass produce outward extending (radiating) lines then, they are termed as radial fracture.

Thus, the term fracture commonly describes the uneven way that glass breaks.

It should be more salt as the temperature rises. The independent variable is the waters temperature. The dependent variable is how much salt is used. Make sure that there is the same amount of water in each beaker. Or else it won’t work.
