Raj is 12 years old. He recently developed a theory on his own about the irregular weather patterns in New York. He uses statistical analysis and certain scientific principles to predict the course of weather in New York. In the context of Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, Raj is most likely in the SENSORIMOTOR stage of development.

the answere is sensorimotor stage.

Further Explanation

The sensorimotor stage is the first stage in Peaget's theory. Age of birth up to 2 years, according to the PIAGET development expert, children enter the sensorimotor stage. During this time, children learn to use sensory and motor skills. Sensors in question are the sense of sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. Whereas motor is a movement for example children learn by moving their limbs.

The growth of children's abilities can be seen from motor activities and their simple perception. This phase the child begins to respond with reflex movements, or schemes that have been formed. Children begin to form mental representations, remember events in their minds, and solve problems with trials in their minds.

Piaget divides the sensory stages of the motor into six periods:

 • Reflex. Most of children's behavior is reflexive, spontaneous inadvertent, and indistinguishable.
 • Habit. Habits are made by experimenting and repeating actions.
 • Interesting reproduction of events. In this period, a child begins to touch and manipulate any objects that are around him.
 • Schematic coordination. A child begins to distinguish between the means and the results of his actions.
 • Experiment. Beginning children develop new ways to achieve goals by experimentation.
 • Representation. A child has begun to find new ways that are not only based on physical and external palpation but also with internal coordination in the picture.

andre [41]

Answer:

Behavior therapy.

Explanation:

As the exercise explains, behavior therapy utilizes the principles of operant conditioning, classical conditioning, and/or observational learning to eliminate inappropriate and maladaptive behaviors. In other words, this therapy attempts to discover and seek those potentially self-destructive or unhealthy behaviors with the intention of changing them, as it believes that it is possible to change them.
