How do you write sentences 10+k=4K

Mathematics

K added to 10 gives you 4 times the value of K.

If you wanted to solve the expression:

Subtract both sides of the expression, right hand side(10+k) and left hand side(4K), by -k as you want to get rid of the variable to get simply 10 on the LHS.
10+k -k = 4k -k

If we want to subtract k from k then we get 0, and if we want to subtract k from 4k we get 3k. For the sake of simplicity think of k as an object saying if I subtract object A from object A I get zero, and so forth.

We are left with the expression:
10 = 3k
We divide both sides by 3 as to get rid of it from the RHS.
We get a solution 10/3 = k

Find the inner product for (3,1,4) * (2,8,-2) and state whether the vectors are perpendicular.
erica [24]

Answer:

6

Not perpendicular

Step-by-step explanation:

Generally, when we have two vectors, (x1, x2, x3...xn) and (y1, y2, y3...yn) the inner product is given by x1*y1+(x2*y2)+(x3*y3).....(xnyn)

If the above sum is zero then the two vectors are perpendicular else they are not.

Given (3, 1, 4) and (2, 8, -2)

The inner product will be

(3*2)+(1*8)+(4*-2)=6+8-8=6

The inner product is 6 hence not perpendicular.

Write the domain and range of the graph below…
Helen [10]

\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}

Let's see what's the domain and range for the given function ~

\qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \:domain \in [ -5 , 4 ]

or

\qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: - 5 \leqslant x \leqslant 4

Because domain = all values of x between its maximum (4) and minimum (-5) value [ including them ]

\qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \:range \in[ -4 , 9 ]

or

\qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: - 4 \leqslant y \leqslant 9

Because range = all values of y between its maximum (9) and minimum (-4) value [ including them ]
