Bob raises Guinea Pigs and Chinchillas on his beachfront oasis. There are a total of 60,005 animals at the oasis. The number of
raketka [301]
Let named variables as you said g- guinea pigs and c- chinchillas
System of equation is:

First is:   c+ g = 60,005
Second is:   c= 2g+5

When we replace second in first we get:

2g+5+g = 60,005 => 3g+5= 60,005 => 3g= 60,000

g=60.000/3 = 20,000 => g=20,000

When this result we replace in the second equation we get

c= 2 * 20,000 +5= 40,000+5 = 40,005

c= 40,005

Good luck!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!! GEOMETRY
please
Cloud [144]
Nothing else is given, so for the two triangles to be congruent, the only possible proof is the ASA theorem.
first pairs of angles: 2x+7=x+21 => x=14
second pairs of angles: 8y-4=4y+28 =>y=8
The two triangles share the same side PR
Based on the Angle-Side-Angle Triangle Congruence theorem, these two triangles are congruent with x=14, y=8
(2x+7) +(8y-4) +Q=180 =>85

aev [14]
y-2>1/2(x-2) can be expanded as follows:  y - 2 > (1/2)x - 1

Mult. all terms by 2 to remove the fractions:

2y - 4 > x - 2

Add 4 to both sides:   2y > x + 2

Div. both sides by 2:    y > (1/2)x + 1   (answer)

Describe how the value of the independent variable is related to the value of the dependent variable. Is the relationship additi
n200080 [17]
The dependent value is determine by the value of the independent value. in other words, the dependent value is what you get when you take the independent value and substitute it in the original equation or situation. The relationship is multiplicative because you must first multiply the independent value in the equation where the x is before you can add or subtract to get your answer.
