Clastic are made from small pieces of other rocks, sedimentary rocks.
Chemical are formed when minerals becomes undersaturated, precipitate forming a limestone.

Answer:

Clastic sedimentary rocks- When the source rocks are weathered, it breaks down into smaller particles. These broken fragments are transported from one place to another with the help of agents such as wind, water and ice. These sediments are then accumulated at another place, and after compaction and lithification, it forms clastic sedimentary rocks. The 'clast' here means the broken rock fragments. For example, Conglomerate.

Chemical sedimentary rocks- these are sedimentary rocks that are formed from the deposition of the minerals that are commonly precipitated from water or other solution. For example, Rock salt.

Organic sedimentary rock- These are sedimentary rocks that are formed from the accumulation of organic matters such as the remains of fossilized flora and fauna, which are compacted with other sediments and eventually forms this organic sedimentary rocks. For example, Oolitic limestone.

These 3 types of rocks differ from one another in terms of their composition, but they all form by the same process i.e. the compaction and lithification of sediments.

What change in volume results if 60 mL of a gas is cooled from 33 C to 5 C?
Eva8 [605]

Answer:

Change in volume on changing temperature from 33^{\circ}C to 5^{\circ}C is 5.49 mL

Explanation:

Initial volume of gas = V = 60 mL

Assuming final volume of gas to be V' mL

Initial temperature = T = 33^{\circ}C = 306 K

Final temperature = T' = 5^{\circ}C = 278 K

The relationship between volume and temperature of gas at constant pressure is shown below

\displaystyle \frac{V}{V'}=\displaystyle  \frac{T}{T'} \\\displaystyle \frac{60\textrm{ mL}}{V'} = \displaystyle \frac{306\textrm{ K}}{T} \\V' = 54.51 \textrm{ mL} \\\textrm{Change in volume} = \left ( V-V' \right ) \\\textrm{Change in volume} = \left ( 60-54.51 \right )\textrm{ mL} \\\textrm{Change in volume} = 5.49 \textrm{ mL}

Change in volume on changing temperature = 5.49 mL

Starting with acetylene and bromoethane, show how you would use reagents from the table to synthesize 3-hexanone.
Jobisdone [24]

solution:

A = 192 x (1/2) ^ (15/5) = 192 x (1/2) ^3 = 192 x 1/8 = 24 mg

 Starting by hitting acetylene with NaNH2 to deprotonate, this C-- will attack the C connected to the Br Sn2 style to lengthen the chain by two carbons.

Do this same thing again with the other CH of the acetylene and another bromoethaneto get a six carbon chain, namely, 3-hexyne.

Now, reduce the alkyne to an alkene via H2/Pd/C, and that gives 3-hexene.

The volume of a sample of oxygen is 200.0 mL when the pressure is 3.000 atm and the temperature is 37.0 oC. What is the new temp
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given:

V1 = 200 ml

T1 = 20 °C

= 20 + 273

= 293 K

P1 = 3 atm

P2 = 2 atm

V2 = 400 ml

Using ideal gas equation,

P1 × V1/T1 = P2 × V2/T2

T2 = (2 × 400 × 293)/200 × 3

= 234400/600

= 390.67 K

= 390.67 - 273

= 117.67 °C

The cis and trans geometric isomers of a compound have different chemical and physical properties. Draw the structure of the geo
frutty [35]

<u>Answer:</u> The structure of the geometrical isomers are attached below.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Cis- and Trans- isomers are the geometrical isomers which have same chemical formula but different structural formula

According to CIP rule, the groups on the doubly bonded carbon atoms are given priorities based on the the atomic masses of first connected atom.

If the highest priority groups are on the same side, it is known as cis-form and if the highest priority groups are on opposite side, it is known as trans-form.

We are given a chemical compound, which is 2-pentene.

In this the highest priority groups are methyl and ethyl groups.

When the groups are on the same side, it forms cis-form and when the groups are on the opposite side, it forms trans-form

The structure of the geometrical isomers are attached below.
