Mechanical Energy

Mechanism energy is the energy associated with the position and motion of an object. Therefore it is also the summation of the kinetic and potential energies of the object.

Explanation:

Mechanism energy is the energy associated with the position and motion of an object. Therefore it is also the summation of the kinetic and potential energies of the object.

In the muscles, to have movement, the chemical bonds in ATP is broken to enable the sliding action of the myosin and actin fibres of a sarcomere (the basic unit of muscle). This sliding action is responsible for contraction of muscle.  The coordinated contractions and relaxations of sarcomeres on muscles result in movement which translates to mechanical energy.

This process is never 100% efficient with some energy lost as heat energy.

10. Which of the following mirror is used to form smaller image
vitfil [10]

Answer:

Correct answer is b) convex mirror

Explanation:

A convex mirror, which bulges outward, reflects at a wider angle near its edges than at its center, creating a slightly distorted image that's smaller than actual size. Convex mirrors have many uses. The smaller size of the images means that you can see more with these surfaces, hence their use in safety mirrors.

What order must the earth, the sun, and the moon be in to be a lunar eclipse?
zhannawk [14.2K]

A total lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon and covers the Moon with its shadow. When this happens, the Moon can turn red, earning it the nickname of Blood Moon.

Consider the resonance structures of formate. the first lewis structure of formate has a central carbon atom. a hydrogen atom an
OleMash [197]
So,

Formate has a resonating double bond.

In molecular orbital theory, the resonating electrons are actually delocalized and are shared between the two oxygens.  So the carbon-oxygen bonds can be described as 1.5-bonds (option B).  I'm not sure if option C is correct, however, because the likelihood of both delocalized electrons being in the area of one oxygen atom is less than 50%.<span />
