It would not look like the original, because those are rock that have undergone certain changes over time due to extreme heat and pressure. Metamorphic stones can be formed in various ways, some of which are : the pressure deep under the Earth's surface may create them, or they could be created due to the extreme heat caused by magma or by the intense collisions and friction of tectonic plates.
