v = u + at

where,

a = acceleration (given as 2.68m/s²)

t = time elapsed during acceleration (given as 0.80s)

since we are told that the the acceleration is in the direction of the intial velocity, we can simply substitute the known values into the equation above:

v = u + at

v = 22.2 + (2.68) (0.8)
