Be careful of the wire size application chart you use, because many of them allow up to a ____ voltage drop over the length of t

he wire, which is more than is allowed in most automotive circuits. Group of answer choices

Answer: 0.1

Explanation: The wire size is very important when making decisions on the wiring of any equipment,house and other things. It has also been found that the size of the wire determines the load that can be allowed through it.

The right wire size application chart should always be considered before selecting the wiring diagram or system for any building or equipment as it can help to determine the amount of voltage that can be effectively carried through it.

A solenoid 10.0 cm in diameter and 63.3 cm long is made from copper wire of diameter 0.100 cm, with very thin insulation. The wi
aliina [53]

Answer:

19559303watts

Explanation:

The field inside a solenoid is

B =µ0*N*I/h

where N is the number of turns, I the current in each turn, and h the length.

If the wire's diameter is d, then the number of turns is N = h/d so the equation becomes

B = µ0*I/d

I = B*d/µ0

B = 7.8*10^-3 T, d = 0.001 m, µ0 = 4*π*10^-7 H/m

I = 8*10^-3*0.001/(4*π*10^-17))

I = 6.366A

For power

We need to know ρ, the resistivity of the wire. The resistance of the coil R = ρ*L/A where L is the total wire length and A the area.

L = N*π*D, were D = diameter of the solenoid and N the no of turns. As above, N = h/d so L = h*π*D/d. The wire area is π*d²/4 so the resistance is

R = ρ*h*π*D/d*(π*d²/4) = 4*ρ*h*D/d³

The power is I²*R = (B*d/µ0)²*4*ρ*h*D/d³ = (B/µ0)²*4*ρ*h*D/d

For copper ρ = 16.8*10^-9 Ω-m and

D = 0.10 m, h = 0.722 m

P = (6.366 / 4 * π * 10^-7)^2 * 4 * 16.8 * 10 ^-9 * 0.722 * 0.1/0.001

P = 19559303watts

P = 20MW

Imagine you derive the following expression by analyzing the physics of a particular system: v2=v20+2ax. The problem requires so
lisabon 2012 [21]

As per kinematics equation we are given that

v^2 = v_o^2 + 2ax

now we are given that

a = 2.55 m/s^2

v_0 = 21.8 m/s

v = 0

now we need to find x

from above equation we have

0^2 = 21.8^2 + 2(2.55)x

0 = 475.24 + 5.1 x

x = 93.2 m

so it will cover a distance of 93.2 m

In an electrical circuit, "_____" refers to the rate at which electrical energy is transformed into another kind of energy.
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

Electrical power

Explanation:

Electrical power: Electric power (P) is defined as the energy (W) used or produced or transformed per seconds.

Power = Energy produced/transformed/time taken.

P = W/t................................ Equation 1

Where t = time taken

But,

W = VIt................................ Equation 2

Substituting equation 2 into equation 1

P = VIt/t

P = VI............................ Equation 3

or

P = V²/R or P = I²R.

The unit of power is J/s or Volt-ampere is called watt (W).

Large amount of electric power are required in the industry

1 kW = 1000 W

1 MW = 1000000 W

1 h.p = 3/4 kW.
