We see this same problem every few months here on Brainly.
Nobody ever tells us how many inches tall the model is.

The data set gives the number of hours it took each of the 10 students in a cooking class to master a particular technique.

I would say it is either median or mode. Both are basically unaffected by outliers. For median, order them smallest to largest. 3,3,4,4,4,5,5,5,5,30. The median is the middle number, or 4.5 because there is an even amount of numbers, and 4.5 is between 4 and 5. The mode is 5 because it occurs the most. I would use the median, but it is completely up to you.

inna [77]

Answer:

The average rate will be 2.40 dollars per kg.

Hence, option D is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the table, it is clear that the order size is located on the x-axis and the price is located on the y-axis.

The price of 100 kg cumin = $450

The price of 600 kg cumin = $1650

so

at x₁ = 100, f(x₁) = 450

at x₂ = 600,  f(x₂) = 1650

Using the formula to determine the average rate of change at which the total cost increases will be:

Average rate = [f(x₂) - f(x₁)] / [ x₂ - x₁]

                      = [1650 - 450] / [600-100]

                      = 1200 / 500

                      = 2.4

Therefore, the average rate will be 2.40 dollars per kg.

Hence, option D is correct.
