Given:

Initial velocity = 0 m/s

Acceleration = 2\frac{m}{s^{2} }

Time = 12 minutes = 12 × 60 = 720 second

To find:

Final velocity = ?

Formula used:

v = u + at

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

Solution:

According to first equation of motion,

v = u + at

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

v = 0 + 2(720)

v = 1440 \frac{m}{s}

The sprinters velocity is 1440 \frac{m}{s}

Answer:

v = 14.4 m/s

Explanation:

It is given that,

Initial speed of the sprinter, u = 0

Acceleration of the sprinter, a=2\ m/s^2

Time taken, t = 0.12 min = 7.2 s

Let v is the final speed of the sprinter. It can be calculated as :

v = u + at

v=0+2\ m/s^2\times 7.2\ s

v = 14.4 m/s

So, the sprinter's velocity is 14.4 m/s. Hence, this is the required solution.

Answer:

Flemmings' left hand rule  and Downward direction

Explanation:

The person could able to determine the path of force by applying the left-hand rule of Fleming.

Via holding the thumb the forefinger and second finger at right angles for one other

The left-hand rule is applied in the electric motors

On the other hand, the right-hand rule is applied for electric generators.

So different hands are used for the different thing as there is a difference between the cause and effect

Therefore in this case there is a left hand rule used and the direction is downward

Read about Pendulums. Then complete the sentences based on the diagram of the pendulum. Be sure to keep this
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

Potential Energy is given as:

P.E = mgh

which means P.E is directly proportional to height 'h'.

Kinetic Energy is given as:

K.E = (1/2)mv²

which means K.E is directly proportional to velocity 'v²'.

Total Energy of Pendulum = K.E + P.E

1. The pendulum has the most potential energy at extreme position because the height is maximum at the extreme position.

2. The pendulum has the least kinetic energy at extreme position because the velocity is zero at extreme position.

3. The pendulum has most kinetic energy at the mean position because the velocity is maximum at this point.

4. The pendulum has the least potential energy at the mean position because the height is minimum.

A rule to remember: The point where K.E is maximum, P.E is zero at this point and vice versa.
