Answer:

A.Faster than

Explanation:

Due to the Doppler effect which states that there is a change in frequency because of the relative speeds of two bodies time dilation takes place. For light the relative difference in velocity between the observer and the source needs to be considered.

Time dilation is the phenomenon where time flows differently for two bodies having different to each other. Time dilation has been verified by the readings of the satellite navigation systems.

\Delta t'=\frac{\Delta t}{\sqrt{1-\frac{v^2}{c^2}}}

Where

Δt' = Time elapsed of a moving body

Δt = Time elapsed when the body is stationary

v = Velocity of the moving body

c = Speed of light

As, v is always less than c, Δt' will always be greater than Δt. This means that more time has elapsed for the body in motion.

Hence, the clock in motion will be faster than an identical clock at rest.

What happens when ice melts, according to the kinetic theory?
lukranit [14]
The water molecules increase their speed.
This is because when an object is in its solid form, the molecules are packed closely together, restricting movement.
On this table;

Solid
Liquid
Gas

Liquid is the next step on the ladder, and going from up to down, the molecules speed up and desperate.

An airplane has a mass of 1.9E6 kg and the air flow past the
nordsb [41]

Answer:

v_{1}=164.4 m/s

Explanation:

The Bernoulli equation is:

P+\frac{1}{2}\rho v^{2}+\rho gh=constant (1)

  • P is pressure related to the fluid
  • ρ is the density of the fluid (ρ(air)=1.23 kg/m³)
  • v is the speed of the fluid
  • h is the displacement from one position to the other

Now let's apply the equation (1), for our case:

P_{1}+\frac{1}{2}\rho v_{1}^{2}=P_{2}+\frac{1}{2}\rho v_{2}^{2} (2)

here we assume that h is the same in both cases so it canceled out.

  • <u>subscript 1</u> is related to the upper surface of the wings
  • <u>subscript 2</u> is related to the low surface of the wings

Solving the equation for v₁ we have:

v_{1}=\sqrt{\frac{2(P_{2}-P_{1})}{\rho}+v_{2}^{2}} (3)

Now, we know that pressure P=F/A (force over area)

\Dela P=\frac{W}{A}=\frac{mg}{A}=\frac{1.9\cdot 10^{6}\cdot 9.81}{1.6\cdot 10^{3}} =11649.4 N/m^{2} (4)

Combining (3) and (4), we can find v1.

v_{1}=\sqrt{\frac{2(11649.4)}{1.23}+90^{2}}

v_{1}=164.4 m/s

I hope it helps you!

Five grams of sugar is mixed win
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

Water is the solvent, therefore (B

Explanation:

Water is called the "universal solvent" because it is capable of dissolving more substances than any other liquid.

This has to do with the polarity of each water molecule. The hydrogen side of each water (H2O) molecule carries a slight positive electric charge, while the oxygen side carries a slight negative electric charge. This helps water dissociate ionic compounds into their positive and negative ions.
