Hey there!

The answer would be B. The sound moves from air to water.

Sound travels through different mediums. It goes fastest in solids, a little slower in liquids, and slowest in air. Sound is a very fast wave, but remember that mediums can differ that. In a vacuum space, there is no sound at all. (ex. outer space)

Hope this helps !

Melissa's favorite exercise equipment at the gym consists of various springs. in one exercise, she pulls a handle grip attached
konstantin123 [22]

The formula for force exerted on/by a spring is

F = k*e where k is the spring constant and x is the distance stretched from unstrained position. This should allow you to find what you need.

Using F = k x e,

where k is the spring constant,

and e is the extension,

The F is her weight = 45 X 0.80

= 36 N

Answer:

c. predation, competition, parasitism

Explanation:

The important and only biotic factors from the given choices that can affect the structure and organization of biological communities are predation, competition and parasitism.

These factors ensures that there are interaction between organisms of the same and different species and only occur in life.

Biotic factors are the living component of the ecosystem that dictates what happens therein.

  • Predation is an interaction between two organisms in which the predator, bigger organism feeds on the prey, smaller organism.
  • Competition occurs where two organism of the same or different species struggles for limited resources in the ecosystem.
  • Parasitism is an interaction where one organism feeds on the another and it causes harm to it. The organism feeding on another is called the parasite. And the one it is dependent on is the host.

All of these are biotic factors.
