The free nerve endings can detect pain, temperature, itch and hair movement. Merkel's disks can detect pressure, position and static touch features. Pacinian corpuscles are sensitive to vibration while Meissner's corpuscles are sensitive to light and touch.

How is gametogenesis different in females than in males?
MArishka [77]

First thing is Male gametes are called sperm and Female gametes are called eggs. So some physical differences are that the eggs are spherical in shape, much larger then sperm, and are immobile (they stay in the female reproductive organ during fertilization). Sperm are smaller, are in a cone shape, and have tails so the could move to the egg during fertilization.

Answer: C_6H_{12}O_6

Explanation: Photosynthesis is a phenomenon in which green plants containing chlorophyll use sunlight as a source of energy to convert carbon dioxide and water to form glucose and oxygen.

Photosynthesis is the process used by plants, algae and certain bacteria to convert energy from sunlight and turn it into chemical energy in the form of glucose which is used a s a source of energy by many organisms.

The balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis is written as :
