Our peers are the people we are most like, in age but also in stage of life. These are the people we spend time with and aspire to be like. Because we do not often want to be like those who are younger than us, peer pressure comes most often from those who are much older, rather than much younger.

What is the name of the upper chamber of the human heart?
kogti [31]
The answer should be atria. (singlular: atrium)

Since there's 4 heart chambers in human heart, there is the left atrium and the right atrium.

The common function of atria is to receive blood transported from the veins. Which will then be pumped into arteries after leaving the atrium and the ventricle, which is the lower chamber of heart. The right atrium receives blood from the vena cava, which is transported from all the body parts, except lungs, while the left atrium receives blood from the pulmonary veins, which transport blood from the lungs.

Below the atria, there's also valves. When they're open, they allow blood to leave the atria, and towards the ventricle. They tend to open when the blood has too much weight which will push them open.

Usually, atria is smaller than ventricle, as they're not the location for the muscles to pump the blood away from the heart.

the amount of weight a woman gains during pregnancy is considered to be a predictor of a baby's health at birth. explain why thi
natima [27]

Answer:

Gaining less than the recommended amount of weight in pregnancy is associated with delivering a baby who is too small. Some babies born too small may have difficulty starting breastfeeding, may be at increased risk for illness, and may experience developmental delays. Gaining more than the recommended amount of weight in pregnancy is associated with having a baby who is born too large, which can lead to delivery complications, cesarean delivery, and obesity during childhood. Gaining more than the recommended amount of weight can also increase the amount of weight you hold on to after pregnancy, which can lead to obesity.
