Answer:

Use dissolution, filtration and evaporation

Explanation:

There are a few steps to follow to determine if there is salt in the bucket

1. Pour deionized water into the bucket covering all the sand

2. Filter this mixture leaving the sand as the residue and the water running through as the filtrate

3. Heat the filtrate and evaporate the water. If there is salt left behind in the heating dish then there was salt mixed in with the sand

The rate law for this reaction is [A]².

Balanced chemical reaction used in this experiment: A + B → P

The reaction rate is the speed at which reactants are converted into products.

Comparing first and second experiment, there is no change in initial rate. The concentration of reactant B is increased by double. Initial rate does not depands on concentration of reactant B.

Comparing first and third experiment, initial rate is nine times greater, while concentration of reactant A is three times greater. Conclusion is that concentration of reactant A is squared and the rate is [A]².

If you are given a chemical equation and specific amounts for each reactant in grams, you have to follow these steps, in order, to determine how much product can possilby be made:

1. Convert each reactant into moles of the product.

2. Determine which reactant is the limiting reactant.

3. Convert the moles of product, from the limiting reactant, to grams.

The molar concentrations for the reactants and products at equilibrium are found to be [HCl]=0.80 M, [O2]=0.20 M, [Cl2]=3.0 M, a
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

\large \boxed{990}

Explanation:

                  4HCl +  O₂  ⇌  2Cl₂ + 2H₂O

E/mol·L⁻¹:   0.80    0.20      3.0       3.0

K_{\text{eq}} = \dfrac{\text{[Cl$_{2}$]$^{2}$[H$_{2}$O]$^{2}$}}{\text{[HCl]$^{4}$[O$_{2}$]}} = \dfrac{3.0^{2}\times3.0^{2}}{0.80^{4}\times 0.20} = \mathbf{990}\\\\\text{The $K_{\text{eq}}$ value is $\large \boxed{\mathbf{990}}$}

If kerosene has a specific gravity of 0.820, what force will be exerted on the circular bottom of a cylindrical kerosene tank th
Svet_ta [14]

Answer:

F = 774146.534\,N

Explanation:

The pressure at the bottom of the tank is:

P_{bottom} = (0.820)\cdot (1000\,\frac{kg}{m^{3}})\cdot (9.807\,\frac{m}{s^{2}})\cdot (30\,ft)\cdot (\frac{0.305\,m}{1\,ft} )

P_{bottom} = 73581.921\,Pa

The force exerted on the circular bottom is:

F=(73581.921\,Pa)\cdot (\frac{\pi}{4} )\cdot [(12\,ft)\cdot (\frac{0.305\,m}{1\,ft} )]^{2}

F = 774146.534\,N
