Answer:

protons and neutrons

Explanation:

An atom is said to be the simple units of matter and basic of describing elements structure. An atom of an element have protons , neutrons and electrons.

The protons and neutrons of an atom are usually located in the nucleus of an atom. The sum of the proton and neutron of an atom determines the atomic mass of an element. This means the proton and neutron plays a major role in determining the mass of an atom. The proton is usually positively charge and tends to repel each other in the nucleus of an atom. The neutron has no charge but usually possess more weight than the proton.

The electron is located at the outer parts of the atom. it usually revolve round the atom . The electron determines how the atoms of an elements bond with other atoms. For an electronic neutral charge of any atom the proton number is equal to the electron number.

The picture above illustrate how the proton, neutron and electron reside in the atom.

What does temperature indirectly measure? 1)Sound 2)Thermometers 3)Chemical Reactions 4)Heat
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

Heat

Explanation:

Temperature is the average thermal energy (or heat) in a substance. Sound isn't really related, thermometers measure temperature, and chemical reactions can produce heat, but none of those are measured by temperature.

The notation for a particular nucleus is r3785b. in an electrically neutral atom. How many electrons are in orbit about this nuc
Serhud [2]

^{85}_{37}Rb has 37 electrons in the orbit about its nucleus.

How to write an atomic symbol with atomic mass and atomic number?

Atomic mass is the total number of neutrons and protons present in the nucleus of an element.

The atomic number is the total number of protons present in the nucleus of an element.

For writing an atomic symbol, atomic mass is written on the top left of the atomic symbol, and the atomic number is written on the downside of the left of the symbol.

^{Atomic mass}_{Atomic number}X

An electrically neutral atom is an atom that has an equal number of electrons as well as protons.

Thus from the above conclusion we can say that ^{85}_{37}Rb has 37 electrons.
