Answer:

The work done by the crane is, W = 441000 J

The power of the crane is, p = 3675 watts

Explanation:

Given data,

The mass of the object, m = 900 kg

The object is lifted to the height, h = 50 m

The time taken to lift the mass, t = 2 min

                                                      = 120 s

The work done by the crane on the object is equal to the potential energy of the object at that height. It is given by the formula,

                                    W = P.E = mgh joules

Substituting the values in the above equation

                                     W = 900 kg x 9.8 m/s² x 50 m

                                         = 441000 J

The work done by the crane is, W = 441000 J

The power of the crane,

                                  P = W / t

                                     = 441000 J / 120 s

                                     = 3675 watts

Hence, the power of the crane is, p = 3675 watts

The water cycle was described in the Scriptures long before modern scientists understood it.

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Low humidity is typically associated with cold temperatures since cold air holds less water compared to warm air. While it is possible for indoor humidity to be as low as 10%, most people generally find humidity levels of about 40 to 45 percent comfortable.

Answer:

80%

Explanation:

efficiency =   \frac{useful \: work \: done}{total \: energy \: input}

800 / 1000 = 0.8

Efficiency = 0.8 *100 = 80%

a person standing at the edge of a seaside cliff kicks a stone over the edge with a speed of 18 m/s. The cliff is 52 m above the
Alexxx [7]
You already have the speed, now you need the time.
I will use the formula for speed which is S=D/T.
S=Speed    D=Distance   T=Time.
So here we have, 18m/s = 52m/T
we do 18 divided by 52 which would be .3461.
.3461 seconds is how long it took the stone to reach the water.

If you were to drive an average velocity of 65 mi/hr to Traverse City, which is
Amanda [17]
Find the number of hours by dividing the distance by mph. The number of hours will be to the left of the decimal point:

250 miles / 65 mph
= 3.846153846
= 3 hours

2) Find the number of minutes by multiplying what is remaining from step 1 by 60 minutes. The minutes will be to the left of the decimal point:

0.846153846 x 60
= 50.76923076
= 50 minutes

3) Find the number of seconds by multiplying what is remaining from step 2 by 60 seconds. The seconds will be to the left of the decimal point:

0.76923076 x 60
= 46.1538456
= 46 seconds

So 3 hours 50 mins and 46 seconds
