When the people mentioned above do risk-taking behaviors, fans of the character(s) or show might do what they do because they admire them (it) so much. For example, say if my favorite character decided to jump off a cliff. Of course they wouldn't get hurt because it's fake, but I will because it's reality. This can lead to serious or fatal injury. Also, if my favorite character was a bad influence, eventually his/her actions would rub off on me and cause me to do bad stuff. In short, copying whatever/whoever you see on whatever you are watching, can be health-risking or can make you an even worse person.
