Your car is initially at rest when your hit that gas and the car begins to accelerate at a rate of 2.857 m/s/s. The acceleration

lasts for 15.5 s. What is the final speed of the car and how much ground does it cover during this acceleration?

Given parameters:

Initial velocity  = 0m/s

Acceleration  = 2.857m/s²

Time  = 15.5s

Unknown:

Final speed of the car = ?

Solution:

 We use one of the motion equations to solve this problem;

     V = U + at

  Where V is the final velocity

               U is the initial velocity

               a is the acceleration

                t is the time taken

    V = 0 + 2.857 x 15.5  = 44.28m/s

steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

If both parents had a recessive allele for blue eyes and they had a brown phenotype it is completely possible for the child to have blue eyes.

Explanation:

Chromosomes play the role of transfering the encoded strands of DNA to the child. Genotypes are the traits or groups of traits transferred and need to carry the trait of blue eyes in order for the child to have them. As long as the parents had a recessive allele for blue eyes they could have a blue eyed child.

A 100.0 mL sample of 1.020 M HCl is mixed with a 50.0 mL sample of 2.040 M NaOH in a Styrofoam cup. If both solutions were initi
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

t_2 = 33.793

Explanation:

Given data:

0.1 L HCl × 1.020 mol/L = 0.102 mol HCL

0.05 L NaOH × 2.040 mol/L = 0.102 mol NaOH

NaOH + HCl \rightarrow  H_2O + NaCl

0.102 mol HCl /1 mol HCl × 1 mol H2O = 0.102 mol H2O

0.102 mol H2O / 1 mol H2O × 57000 J = 5814 J

V(t ) = V_1+V_2 = 100 + 50 = 150 mL

M(t)=150*1=150 g

we know that heat energy is given as

Q = mc(t_2 - t_1)

where c is specific heat

total energy released is = 57 \times 0.102 = 5.814 kJ

5814 = 150 \times 4.184 \times (t_2 - 24.53)

t_2 = 33.793

Answer:

The doorbell transforms electrical energy into sound.

Explanation:

The doorbell MAY turn electrical energy into motion of a striker which then impacts a resonator creating sound. However all door bells do not have solenoids. Some are electronic playing recordings when activated.

All doorbells do produce sound, though.
