Answer:

The speed of the car B after the collision is same as the speed of the car A before collision.

Explanation:

lets take the mass of the car A = m kg

Initial speed of the car A = u m/s

The mass of the car B = m kg

Initial speed of the car A = 0 m/s

The final speed of the car A = 0 m/s

The final speed of the car B = v

There is no any external force on the masses that is why the linear momentum will be conserve.

Initial linear momentum = Final linear momentum

P = mass  x velocity

m u + m x 0 = m x 0 +  m v

m u  + 0 = 0 + m v

m u = m v

v= u

Therefore we can say that ,the speed of the car B after the collision is same as the speed of the car A before collision.

An archer wishes to shoot an arrow at a target at eye level a distance of 50.0m away. If the initial speed imparted to the arrow
notka56 [123]
Given:
Hmax (distance) = 50.0m
v₀ = 70.0m/s

Required:
what angle should the arrow make with the horizontal as it is being shot

Solution:
Hmax = v₀²sin²θ / 2g
sin²θ = 2gHmax / v₀²
sin²θ = 2 (9.81 m/s²) (50m) / (70 m/s)²
sin²θ = 0.200
θ = 26.56°

What is the net force of this object ?

22newtons
36 Newtons
0 newtons
8 newtons
antiseptic1488 [7]
There is no net vertical force.
The 20N upward is exactly balanced by the 20N downward.

There IS a net horizontal force.
(22N to the right) + (14N to the left) = 8 N to the right.

The net force acting on this object is 8 newtons to the right.

3. An automobile accelerates 1.77 m/sover 6.00 s to reach the freeway speed at
Effectus [21]

The initial speed of the automobile is 49.84km/hr

Explanation:

Given:

Acceleration, a = 1.77 m/s²

Time, t = 6s

Final speed, v = 88 km/h

                     v = 88 X 0.278 m/s

                     v = 24.464 m/s

Initial speed, u = ?

We know,

v = u + at

On substituting the value in the formula we get:

24.464 = u + (1.77 X 6)

24.464 = u + 10.62

u = 24.464 - 10.62 m/s

u = 13.844 m/s

Converting u = 13.844 m/s to km/hr

1 m/s = 3.6 km/hr

13.844 m/s = 13.844 X 3.6 km/hr

u = 49.84 km/hr

Therefore, the initial speed of the automobile is 49.84km/hr
