Answer:252 miles

Explanation:

Given

Amy took 7 hours while going

and it took only 4 hours on her return trip

Let v_g be the average speed while going and v_h is the average speed while returning.

x is the distance between the home and mountain

therefore

\frac{x}{4}-\frac{x}{7}=27

x\left ( \frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{7}\right )=27

x=9\times 4\times 7=252 miles

Answer:

252 miles

Explanation:

We define of the equation of the Velocity:

V=d/t

V: velocity (miles/hour)

d : distance(miles)

t: time (hours)

V1= Speed going to the montain= d/7

V2= Speed back home= d/4

Because the average rate was 27 miles per hour faster on the trip home:

V2=V1+27

d/4=d/7+27

d/4-d/7=27

((7d-4d)/28=27

3d=28*27

d=756/3

d=252 miles

What is the equivalent resistance if you connect three 10.0 Ω resistors in series?
Sonja [21]

Req = 30.0Ω.

When two or more resistors are in series, the intensity of current that passes through each of them is the same. Therefore, if you notice, you can observe that the three previous series resistors are equivalent to a single resistance whose value is the sum of each one.

Req = R1 + R2 + R3 = 10.0Ω + 10.0Ω + 10.0Ω = 30.0Ω

Charge is distributed uniformly on the surface of a large flat plate. the electric field 2 cm from the plate is 30 n/c. the elec
AysviL [449]
The electric field produced by a large flat plate with uniform charge density on its surface can be found by using Gauss law, and it is equal to
E= \frac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_0}
where
\sigma is the charge density
\epsilon_0 is the vacuum permittivity

We see that the intensity of the electric field does not depend on the distance from the plate. Therefore, the strenght of the electric field at 4 cm from the plate is equal to the strength of the electric field at 2 cm from the plate:
E=30 N/C

andriy [413]
Beat frequency, fb = |f2-f1|

That is, beat frequency is the absolute difference between two frequencies. Is is as a results of destructive and constructive inferences.

Therefore, in this case:
