A roofer calculates his bid price using the formula P = 1.85s + 4.2f, where s is the area of the roof in square feet and f is th

e length of the fascia in feet. Find the area of the roof with 190 feet of fascia and a price of $4,148. Round to the nearest square foot.

Answer: 1,811 square foot

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to solve the equation given, by substituting P = 4,148 and f=190 in the equation.

P = 1.85s + 4.2f

4,148 = 1.85s +4.2 (190)

Solving for s:

4,148 = 1.85s +798

4,148-798 =1.85s

3,350 = 1.85s

3,350/1.85 =s

s = 1,810.81 = 1,811 square foot (rounded)

When u set this equation up u get 4,148=1.85s+4.2(190) then u do 4.2 times 190 and u get 798 then your equation turns to be 4,148=1.85s+798. after u get that u -798 from 4,148 and get 3,359 and u bring the rest down and get 3,359=1.85s once u get that u divide 1.85 from 3,359 and u get 1,815.68 if you round.

The sum of the inside angles of a 6 sides figure is 720

Add the known angles together:

90 + 112 + 131 + 154 + 118 = 605

Subtract the sum of the known angles from 720 for x:

x = 720 - 605 = 115

x = 115 degrees.

nlexa [21]

Answer:

y+z=x

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The Exterior Angle Property of a Triangle states that the measure of exterior angle of a triangle is equals to the sum of measures of its interior opposite angles

In this problem

Angle y and angle z are interior angles of triangle ABC and angle x is a exterior angle of triangle ABC

therefore

Ella can complete the cheep cheep beatch course in 1 minute and 25 seconds. If the course is 3 laps long. How long would it take
Minchanka [31]

Answer: it will take her 56.67 seconds or 0.945 minutes to race 2 laps

Step-by-step explanation:

It takes Ella 1 minute and 25 seconds to complete the cheep beach course.

We can express this time in seconds or minutes. Expressing it in seconds,

1 minute = 60 seconds

Therefore,

1 minute and 25 seconds = 60 +25 = 85 seconds

If the course is 3 laps long, that means she completed 3 laps in 85 seconds. The time it will take her to race 2 laps would be

(2 × 85)/3

= 56.67 seconds

Converting to minutes, it will be

56.7/60 = 0.945 minutes
