Ok so in this problem we will use some laws that relate to exponents.

x^-1 = 1/x this is the law we will use in this case.

-6^(-3) simplified is 1/-6^3 then from there evaluate -6^3, which is -216.

So the final answer is 1/-216

So basically we are multiplying the number -6 3 times they are trying to trick you. BUT a tip is to think of it as regular multiplication and then applying that to exponents. So first multiply 6 times 6 whixh is 36 times 6 which is 216 so 1/216 should be your final answer.

Suppose a map company wants to produce a globe with a surface area of 450 in2. use the formulaa equals 4 πr squared , where a is
Marizza181 [45]
We know that
[surface area of a sphere]=4*pi*r²
r²=surface area/(4*pi)
r=√[surface area/(4*pi)]
surface area=450 in²
r=√[450/(4*pi)]------> r=5.98 in------------> r=6 in

the answer is
r=6 in

timurjin [86]

Answer:

There are 1,037,158,320  ways to choose a committee of 18 among 33 students.

There are 4,939,200 ways to choose 5 freshmen from 7, 6 sophomores from 8, 4 juniors from 8, and 3 seniors from 10.

Step-by-step explanation:

33!/18!15! = 1,037,158,320

7!/5!2! * 8!/6!2! * 8!/4!4! * 10!/7!3!

= 7*3 * 7*4 * 7*5*2 * 10*4*3 = 4,939,200
