Answer

39 bills of 1$

16 bills of 10$

Step-by-step explanation:

x-nr of $1

y-nr of $10

x*1+y*10=199

x+y=55 , x=55-y

so I use the substitution method

(55-y)*1+10y=199

55+10y-y=199

-55            -55

9y=144

y=144/9

y=16

so x=55-16

     x=39

verify 16*10+39*1=160+39=199

Find the area of the composite figure and round the nearest tenth
Monica [59]

Answer:

The area of the composite figure is 1360 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you should split up the composite figure into separate shapes.

So to find area of the triangle all the way on the left, you multiply base x height then divide by 2.

30 x 34 = 1020 ÷ 2 = 520.

Then, moving on to next shape, we can break up the trapezoid into a rectangle and a triangle.

To find area of the rectangle you multiply length x width.

16 x 30 = 480.

Finally, we have the last triangle right above the rectangle. Keep in mind that the rectangle does not have a length of 40!

You have to subtract 40 - 16 which equals 24.

30 x 24 = 720 ÷ 2 = 360.

Now that we have all 3 numbers, we simply add them all together and you will get an answer of 1360 ft.

Answer:

List the factors of 12

1,12

2,6

3,4

That is the side lengths of the 3 rectangles

All the areas will be 12 because they are the factors 12

factors multiply to be a number

(length + width) x 2 = perimeter

1+12=13x2=26

1 by 12 has a perimeter of 26 and area of 12

2 by 6 has a perimeter of 16 and area of 12

3 by 4 has a perimeter of 14 and area of 12

Hope this helps. If you have any questions you can ask
