Anaerobic Exercises: Burst of energy over a short period of time.

Aerobic Exercises: Energy that is used over a longer period of time.

Similarities:

  1. Both are forms of exercise
  2. They both use glucose as the starting molecule

Differences:

  1. Oxygen is not present in Anaerobic exercise, but is present in Aerobic exercise.
  2. Aerobic exercise is performed at a low intensity, while Anaerobic exercise is performed at a higher intensity.

Examples:

Anaerobic: Sprinting and Weightlifting

Aerobic: Jump Rope and Zumba Class
