HEY MATE !!

Secx = \frac{25}{24}

As we know secx = hypotenuse/ perpendicular

And cotx = Base / perpendicular

So now we have to find BASE .

{25}^{2}= {B}^{2}+ {24}^{2}
625= {B}^{2}+ 576
{B}^{2} = 625 - 576
{B}^{2} = 49

Taking squre root on both sides.

B = 7

Now cotx = 24/ 7

SO YOUR ANSWER IS OPTION . (C)

Anna does sit-ups to get ready for her first triathlon. When she starts, she does a sit-up every 222 seconds. But, as she gets t
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Choice B) No.

Step-by-step explanation:

When she starts , she does a sit-up every 222 seconds.

But as she gets tired, each sit-up takes longer and longer to do.

It means, each sit-up takes more time than she did at beginning.

So, it is NOT proportional to the time.

If it is proportional, she should take constant number of sit-ups even she get tired.

Lets check the first point (0,6)

3*0+4=4  no good

0+6 =6  good

0^2+6 =6 good

6 * (7/6) ^0 =6  good

Lets check the second point (1,7)

3*1+4=  we don't care since it didn't work for (0,6)

1+6 =7

1^2+6 =7

6 * (7/6) ^1 =7

Lets check the third point (2,10)

3x+4=  we still don't care

2+6 = 8 no good

2^2+6 =10  good

6 * (7/6) ^2 =6 * 49/36 =49/6  no good

f(x) = x^2 +6

Nostrana [21]

Answer:

$6.72

Step-by-step explanation:

The store is selling lemons at $0.56 each. Each lemon yields about 2 tablespoons of juice.How much will it cost to buy enough lemons to make three  9-inch lemon pies, each requiring half a cup of lemon juice?

1 cup = 16 table spoon of juice

half a cup =  8 table spoon of juice

1 pie require half a cup of lemon juice. so 1 pie requires 8 tablespoon of lemon juice

Each lemon yields about 2 tablespoons of juice

2 times 4 = 8

So 4 lemon needed to make a pie

cost of 1 lemon = 0.56

cost of 4 lemons = 0.56 \cdot 4=2.24

cost of lemon for making 3 pie= 3 \cdot 2.24=6.72
