Explanation:

Density (d) = mass (m) / volume (V)

So in the firs case we can say V=m/d, so if the volume stay the same as the density increases then the mass will have to increases.

In the second case m= V x d, so if the mass stay the same the density has to change inversely proportionally to volume. So if the density increases then the volume has to decreases in order to conserv the same mass

Finally, the dipole feels a force in the opposite direction to the direction of fall, therefore it falls with less speed.
