Answer: Molarity of NaOH solution is 0.0553 M.

Explanation:

To calculate the number of moles, we use the equation:

\text{Number of moles}=\frac{\text{Given mass}}{\text{Molar mass}}

Given mass of KHP = 0.256 g

Molar mass of KHP = 204.22 g/mol

Putting values in above equation, we get:

\text{Moles of KHP}=\frac{0.256g}{204.22g/mol}=0.00125mol

The chemical reaction follows the equation:

KHC_8H_4O_4(aq.)+NaOH\rightarrow Na_2C_8H_4O_4(aq.)+H_2O(l)

By Stoichiometry of the reaction:

1 mole of KHP reacts with 1 mole of NaOH.

So, 0.00125 moles of KHP will react with = \frac{1}{1}\times 0.00125=0.00125 moles of NaOH.

To calculate the molarity of NaOH, we use the equation:

We are given:

Moles of NaOH = 0.00125 moles

Volume of solution = 22.62 mL

Putting values in above equation, we get:

\text{Molarity of NaOH }=\frac{0.00125mol\times 1000}{22.62ml}=0.0553M

Hence, the molarity of NaOH solution is 0.0553 M.

Naturally occurring neon exists as three isotopes. 90.51% is ne-20 with a mass of 19.99 amu, 0.27% is ne-21 with a mass of 20.99
gregori [183]

The atomic mass of an element is the average relative mass of its atoms as compared with an atom of carbon-12 whose mass is taken as 12. In terms of percentages of different isotopes, the average atomic mass can be determined as follows: A_{average} = ∑(p_{i}X A_{i})/100. Where, p_{i} is the percentage abundance of isotope with atomic number A_{i}.

So, average atomic mass of neon = \frac{(90.51 X 19.99) + (0.27 X 20.99) + (9.22 X 21.99)}{100} = 20.177 amu.

The average atomic mass of the imaginary element : 47.255 amu

<h3>Further explanation  </h3>

The elements in nature have several types of isotopes

Isotopes are elements that have the same Atomic Number (Proton)

Atomic mass is the average atomic mass of all its isotopes

Mass atom X = mass isotope 1 . % + mass isotope 2.% ..

isotope E-47 47.011 amu, 87.34%

isotope E-48 48.008 amu, 6.895

isotope E-49 50.009 amu, 5.77%

The average atomic mass :

\tt avg~mass=0.8734\times 47.011+0.06895\times 48.008+0.0577\times 50.009\\\\avg~mass=41.059+3.310+2.886\\\\avg~mass=47.255~amu

Which tool or tools would you use to measure and compare the mass of a cup of fresh water and a cup of salt water
Artemon [7]
You could use a scale to measure the mass as well as a cup to hold the water. If you were comparing the two, you should also probably use a graduated cylinder to get the same amount of each type of water.

Hope this helped ^_^
