You have shown no structure, still we can work out for the answer :).

First Option: 2-dimethylyne: This name is incorrect, because it does not contain any parent chain name.

Second Option: 2-methylbutane: I have drawn its structure below, compare it with your structure.

Third Option: 4-methylbutene: I have drawn the structure for this name. But this name is also against IUPAC rules, and its correct name is 1-Pentene.

Fourth Option: 4,3-methylbutyne: Again incorrect name, 4,3 are two positions, but here only one substituent is given (methyl). I have drawn structure of 3,4-Dimethylbutene, this name is incorrect, and the correct name for this compound is 3-Methyl-1-pentene.

Fifth Option: 4,4-methylbutane: Again incorrect name, 4,4 means at 4 position two substituents, but in name only methyl is given. Anyhow lets make it two and draw a structure, for 4,4-Dimethylbutane. Ooops!! This name is also incorrect, and the correct name for this compound is 2-Methylpentane.

Result:
           Among all options only, option B (2-Methylbutane) is correctly named, and this will be the correct name for the structure given to you.

What type of metamorphism involves chemical reactions between oceanic lithosphere and warm fluids near mid-ocean ridges?.
Mariulka [41]

Hydrothermal metamorphism involves chemical reactions between oceanic lithosphere and warm fluids near mid-ocean ridges

Hydrothermal metamorphism is most common along mid-ocean ridge spreading centers, where warm seawater percolates through hot, cracked basalt. Metamorphism of basalt occurs as a result of chemical interactions between hot saltwater and basalt. On continents, crustal rocks can be metamorphosed by invading, hot fluids associated with igneous intrusions, resulting in hydrothermal metamorphism.

The interaction of a rock with a high-temperature fluid of changing composition results in hydrothermal metamorphism. The compositional mismatch between an existing rock and the entering fluid causes a series of metamorphic and metasomatic processes.

Hydrothermal metamorphism changes Mg-Fe-rich hydrous minerals like talc, chlorite, serpentine, actinolite, tremolite, zeolites, and clay minerals. Hydrothermal metamorphism is frequently responsible for the formation of rich ore deposits.

How many ions are present if 2.0 moles of hno3 are completely dissolved in water?
Arte-miy333 [17]
Nitric acid(HNO3) is a strong acid so most of its component will dissociate into an ion form. When dissolved into water, nitric acid will have this reaction
HNO3= 1 H^{+} + NO3^{-}

For every 1 mol of HNO3, there will be 1 mol of H+ ion and NO3- ion formed, which makes a total of 2 ions(degree of dissociation = 2).
Then for 2 moles of HNO3 it would be: 2 moles * 2= 4 moles of ion

How many molecules are there in the following 25.0 g H2SO4
NeX [460]

Answer:

1.536×10^23

Explanation:

One mole of any compound has N molecules.

Where N is the Avogadro's number

Molecular weight of H2SO4 is

H2 = 2

SO4 = 96

H2SO4 = 2+96

98g/mol

Hence the number of mole of H2SO4 in 25g = 25/98 = 0.2551mol

Number of molecules = 25/98 × 6.022×10^23

= 1.536×10^23 molecules

Given: Pb(s) + PbO2(s) + 2H2SO4(l) → 2PbSO4(s) + 2H2O(l); ΔH° = –509.2 kJ SO3(g) + H2O(l) → H2SO4(l); ΔH° = –130. kJ determine Δ
enot [183]

ΔH° = -769.2 kJ is required.

Explanation:

Given equations are:

Pb(s) + PbO₂(s) + 2 H₂SO₄(l) → 2 PbSO₄(s) + 2H₂O(l);  ΔH° = –509.2 kJ ------1

SO₃(g) + H₂O(l) → H₂SO₄(l);  ΔH° = –130. kJ ----2

From the above 2 equations, by adding or subtracting or multiplying or dividing the required amount to get the final equation by means of Hess's law.

Multiplying eq. 2 by 2 we will get,

2 SO₃(g) + 2 H₂O(l) → 2 H₂SO₄(l) ;  ΔH° = -260 kJ ----3

Adding it to eq. 1 we will get,

Pb(s) + PbO₂(s) + 2 H₂SO₄(l) → 2 PbSO₄(s) + 2H₂O(l);  ΔH° = –509.2 kJ ------1

2 H₂SO₄ and 2 H₂O gets cancelled since they are on opposite sides, and the ΔH° values are added to get the ΔH° value of the required equation as,

Pb(s) + PbO₂(s) + 2 SO₃(g) → 2 PbSO₄(s)

ΔH° = -509.2 - 260 = -769.2 kJ
