On a round table top with a diameter of 100 cm, they each place a underpad in turn. The underpads are made of rigid plastic and

come in two colors. Arthur plays with red and Olivia plays with black. The underpads have a diameter of 6 cm.
When placing underpads, they may touch each other, but they must not overlap. The underpads may also come over the edge of the table, as long as they don't fall off! There is an unlimited amount of underpads available to them. The aim of the game is to be able to place the last underpad.
Is it possible to devise a tactic to always win the game? Write out the method + statement.

Answer:

It is possible to devise a tactic to always win the game.

Step-by-step explanation:

The method of doing so could be placing your under pads around the edges first of the round table. Your opponent might follow suit but if they do then you will win! As long as you get to place your first underpad on the edge of the table you will gain the advantage. After the edges if the round table have been used up, you begin the process against the ones before. Here is a rough sketch to help you out. Hope i helped!!!

Anestetic [448]

Answer:

36 pages per day on average

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the average.

3 * 28 (The first 3 days of the week where Mike reads 28 pages per day) = 84

4 * 42 (The next 4 days where Mike reads 42 pages per day ) = 168

168 + 84 = 252

To find the average using this total, divide it by the total amount of days of reading (seven days in this problem).

252 / 7 = 36

egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

The last graph best represents the story

Step-by-step explanation:

Mary left for school from rest. So the initial speed is zero.

So we start from the origin and draw a straight line with a positive slope to running, that is as time increases , distance covered also increases.

When she is resting, her speed is zero so we draw a horizontal line to indicate this second phase of her journey.

After resting she still continued her journey to school.

This part also has a positive slope.
