Calculate the initial (from rest) acceleration of a proton in a 5.00 x 10^6 N/C electric field (such as created by a research Va
julsineya [31]

Answer:

Acceleration of the proton will be equal to 4.79\times 10^{14}m/sec^2

Explanation:

We have given electric field E=5\times 10^6N/C

Mass of proton is equal to m=1.67\times 10^{-27}kg

And charge on proton is equal to e=1.6\times 10^{-19}C

Electrostatic force will be responsible for the motion of proton

Electrostatic force will be equal to F=qE=1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 5\times 10^6=8\times 10^{-13}N

According to newton law force on the proton will be equal to F = ma, here m is mass of proton and a is acceleration

This newton force will be equal to electrostatic force

So 1.67\times 10^{-27}\times a=8\times 10^{-13}

a=4.79\times 10^{14}m/sec^2

So acceleration of the proton will be equal to 4.79\times 10^{14}m/sec^2

Two trains of length 90m and120m<br>
Alenkasestr [34]

Answer:Train A is 90 m long and running at 72 km/h.

Train B is 120 m long and running at 36 km/h.

When the trains are running in opposite directions, their relative speed gets added: 72+36 = 108 km/h.

The total length of A and B = 90+120 = 210 m

So the time taken to cross each other = 210 m*60*60/108*1000m

= 7 seconds

Complete the paragraph to compare Uranus and Neptune.
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

Uranus and Neptun are outer planets od the Solar system, since they are located after the asteroid belt. All of these outer planets are much larger then the inner ones so they are called the "ice giants". The other reason for this name is that they are very far from the Sun, so their temperature is low. Another feature they have in common is their atmosphere which is composed of gases, including methane, which is responsible for their blue color, since methane absorbs red light. However Neptune is known for very fast winds and storms in its atmosphere which is responsible for its high activity and changes.

So, the blanks should be filled with:

Sun

methane

Neptune

outer planets
