360 mg / 1000    => 0.36 g

molar mass => 180 /mol

number of moles:

mass of solute / molar mass

0.36 / 180 => 0.002 moles

Volume solution = 200 mL / 1000 => 0.2 L

M = n / V

M = 0.002 / 0.2

M = 0.01 mol/L

hope this helps!

Which materials are typically used as thermal insulators? Check all that apply.
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer : The correct options are, (B) Foam, (C) Ceramic, (D) Wood and (E) Plastic

Explanation :

As we know that the conductor is the material that conduct or transmits the energy or electricity through them and insulator is the material that resist the energy transfer.

There are different types of insulators and conductors which are:

Electrical conductor : It is a type of material that conducts electrons, protons and ions. It conduct electricity. For example : silver, gold, copper, steel, brass, etc.

Thermal conductor : It is a type of material that conducts heat. For example: diamond, silver, gold, etc.

Electrical insulator : It is a type of material in which the electrical charges do not flow freely that means very little amount of electric current flow through them. For example : glass, plastic, rubber, porcelain, pure water, dry paper, dry wood, etc.

Thermal insulator : It is a type of material that reduces the transfer of heat between the object in thermal contact. For example : polystyrene foam, water, wool, plastic, ceramic, wood.

Hence, the materials typically used as thermal insulators are, foam, ceramic, wood and plastic.
