Barium chloride reacts with silver nitrate to form a precipitate of silver chloride along with soluble solution of barium nitrate. The equation is as follows:

BaCl2(aq) + AgNO3(aq) → AgCl(s) + Ba(NO3)2(aq)

Lets balance the equation:

Reactants Products

# Ba atoms = 1 #Ba atoms = 1

# Cl atoms = 2 # Cl atoms = 1

# Ag atoms = 1 # Ag atoms = 1

# NO3- group = 1 # NO3- group = 2

Thus the balanced equation needs to be balanced w.r.t Cl and NO3-

BaCl2(aq) + 2AgNO3(aq) → 2AgCl(s) + Ba(NO3)2(aq)

scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

five half lives

Explanation:

Half-life is the time required for a quantity to reduce to half of its initial value.

How many half lives it would take to reach 3.13% form 100% of it's initial concentration:

100% - 50% : First Half life

50% - 25%: Second Half life

25% - 12.5%: Third Half life

12.5% - 6.25%: Fourth Half life

6.25% - 3.125%: Fifth Half life

This means it would take five half lives to get to 3.125% (≈ 3.13%) of it's original concentration.

1. Stirring increases the rate of solution
Blababa [14]

Answer:

1) The correct answer is A. Collision

2) A hot solvent helps a solid dissolve faster because an increase in kinetic energy that also increases the rate of collisions

Explanation:

When a solute is added into a solvent and stirred, the solute particles get distributed to all parts of the solvent as a result of stirring.

More collisions occur between the solute and the solvent due to stirring. This increases the rate of dissolving.

When a solvent is heated, then the kinetic energy would increase and the atoms will collide with a much greater force. As a result, ore solute will be able to dissolve in the solvent.
