Answer:

Human immune system has two types of immune response-; Specific immune response and non specific immune response.

Explanation:

                                Human immune response

The response of  body caused by immunity to a particular antigen or pathogen.   there are two types of immune responses-

INNATE IMMUNE RESPONSE- This is the non specific immune response. This is present in all organisms by birth. No specificity is required.Examples-

Immunity transferred by mother to her baby from colostrum,

First line of defence like skin,

Non specific immune response is always present naturally. This is always ready to fight with any infection. Neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils and macrophages are cells which give immune response without any specific training. The first response after infection is fever, inflammation etc caused by non specific response.

ACQUIRED IMMUNE RESPONSE- Also known as adaptive response or specific response. Which is acquired by individual in his life. It is triggered by antigen and as response body produce specific cells

In this immunity, body produce MEMORY CELLS, so whenever in future that particular antigen exposed to the body it gives quick response against that antigen.

There are B and T LYMPHOCYTES which perform this response. B lymphocytes are cells produce antibodies  these are IgA, IgD,IgE,IgG, and IgM. These cells target antigens and kill them in very specific manner.

Alfred Kinsey conducted research to determine what percentage of the population was heterosexual and what percentage was homosex
kow [346]

Answer:

B. He believed that sexuality is a continuum and wanted to classify people more precisely

Explanation:

Kinsey quantified in his studies heterosexuality and homosexuality on a continuous scale from 0 to 6, specified in heterosexual and homosexual experience and reactivity in each story. 0 on this scale is assigned to individuals with exclusively heterosexual sexual contacts and experiences and 6 to exclusively homosexual individuals.

He proposed a model according to which there are many intermediate degrees between heterosexuality and homosexuality. This gradualness was embodied in what is now known as the Kinsey scale.

A postmenopausal female client diagnosed with osteoporosis asks the nurse how a decrease in estrogen can cause problems with bon
larisa [96]

Answer:

The correct answer is option a.

Explanation:

Osteoporosis refers to a condition that weakens the bone, and enhances the threat of unanticipated and sudden fractures, also known as porous bones. It leads to an enhanced loss of bone mass and strength. The disease often advances without any kind of pain or signs.

There is a direct association between the reduction of estrogen post menopause and the emergence of osteoporosis. Postmenopause, the breakdown or resorption of bone takes over the formation of novel bone. Estrogen diminishes the function and number of osteoclasts. Thus, the reduction in the levels of estrogen after menopause leads to bone loss.
