The answer that makes the most sense is answer choice 1... the answer definitely couldn't be scale ( answer choice 2), because mass and weight are two different things. Weight is measured on a scale and mass is is measured by using a balance, hope this helps !! :)

There are many interesting applications of our energy density model to the flow of blood in the human circulatory system. One in
qaws [65]

Answer:

Pressure increases due to enlargement

Explanation:

Energy density is just a fancy name for pressure

Pressure is same at the bottom of the cups (same level-Pascal's law)

thus, Air pressure 1 + h1d1g = Air pressure 2 + h2d1g

= Air pressure 3 + (h2-h1)d2g +h1d1g

from the first 2, we get that since h2>h1, AP2<AP1

from the next 2, we get that since d2<d1, AP3>AP2

from first and third, we get that AP1>AP3

thus, finally AP1>AP3>AP2

for fluids flowing in tubes (blood vessel in this case)

P+0.5dv^2 + gh is constant (also called the bernoulli equation

for the same blood vessel, the heights remain same i.e h1=h2

for same flow rate, inc in area decreases the speed at which the blood flows as vA must remain same

hence, P increases due to enlargement

What evidence supports the existence of a very massive black hole at the center of our galaxy?
faltersainse [42]

The motions of the gas and stars at the center indicate that it contains 4 million solar masses within a region no larger than our solar system is the evidence supports the existence of a very massive black hole at the center of our galaxy.

What is black hole?

Black holes are points in space that are so dense they create deep gravity sinks. Beyond a certain region, not even light can escape the powerful tug of a black hole's gravity. And anything that ventures too close—be it star, planet, or spacecraft—will be stretched and compressed like putty in a theoretical process aptly known as spaghettification.

There are four types of black holes: stellar, intermediate, supermassive, and miniature. The most commonly known way a black hole forms is by stellar death. As stars reach the ends of their lives, most will inflate, lose mass, and then cool to form white dwarfs. But the largest of these fiery bodies, those at least 10 to 20 times as massive as our own sun, are destined to become either super-dense neutron stars or so-called stellar-mass black holes.

If a car's engine gives off 65% thermal energy, what is the maximum efficiency?
stich3 [128]

Answer:

35%

Explanation:

The car's engine gives off 65% thermal energy

So only 35 % is converted into mechanical energy .

input heat = Q₁ = 100

output heat = Q₂ = 65

Work output = Q₁ - Q₂ = W

W = 100 - 65 = 35

Efficiency = W / Q₁ X 100

= (35/ 100) X 100

= 35%.

If the Velocity of the body
is increased to 3v, determine the kinetic energy
Rom4ik [11]

ANSWER; KE=5mv^2 so it is proportional to v^2.

Explanation:So if you triple the velocity you are replacing v with 3v. Then you get (3v)^2=9v^2.
