The volume of water can be measured by different scale from a micro level to macro. The micro level water can be calculated by micro liter, where as the high quantity of liquid is expressed by gallon. To determine the volume of the water, which is small in grade one should use the milliliter(mL) unit. 1 mL is equivalent to 0.001 liter. The unit in which we are expressing the volume of any liquid should be simple and hand-able data. The volume of the water containing in a cup may be of 50-100 mL. Thus for this much volume using of macro or any other major unit will make the data complicated.

Which of these is the correct equation for the dissociation of water? Which of these is the correct equation for the dissociatio
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer: Option (a) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

A dissociation reaction is defined as the reaction in which a compound beaks down into two or more different parts.

For example, molecular formula of water is H_{2}O and when it dissociates then it given hydrogen ion and hydroxide ion.

Therefore, dissociation reaction for water is as follows.

     H_{2}O \rightleftharpoons H^{+} + OH^{-}

Thus, we can conclude that out of the given options H_{2}O \rightleftharpoons H^{+} + OH^{-} is the correct equation for the dissociation of water.

What are some factors that might cause our percent yield to be greater than 100%? What are some factors that might cause it to b
belka [17]
In the field of science, usually, the product of an experiment is computed ahead to understand if it reached a specific objective. It would reach greater than 100% of percent yield if the factors include faster reaction rates; proper handling of the reactants, no outside contaminants, and the procedure of the experiment is followed smoothly. It would reach lesser than 100% percent yield if the experiment is not followed, external factors such as contamination from the environment (wind, moisture, etc).

When the calculation (2.31)(4.9795X10^3)/(1.9971X10^4) is performed,how many significant digits should be reported for the answe
rusak2 [61]
When multiplying quantities, the basis for the number of significant answers for your answer is the least number among the given data. In this problem, 2.31 has 3 sig figs, 4.9795x10³ has 5 sig figs, and 1.9971x10⁴ has 5 sig figs. So, we follow 3 sig figs.

(2.31)(4.9795X10^3)/(1.9971X10^4) = 23.0×10⁷
