Answer:

See explanation section

Explanation:

a) Implementing an urban planning project is an example of speculative risk. There is a huge uncertainty before implementing a project as well as after its implementation regarding its gross outcomes. Projects of any type can completely fail. But there are some cases that they succeed; they may spawn some positive outcomes for a specific community. In any project, there is always a probability of both gain and loss.

b) There are a lot of possible adverse outcomes of this type of risk. Maybe the project is not running sustainably. The ground condition may not be suitable afterward, but inclement weather can reduce the desired project utilitarian. It can attribute an adverse impact on the present environment. Assume that the budget cross before the implementation of that project. Finally, these sorts of adverse outcomes may result in the project’s failure.

c) Project risk can also beget some positive outcomes. In this type of threat, after implementation of that project, it may run sustainably. The ground and atmospheric conditions may appear suitable for this specific project. The approved budget may consider sufficient for the project implementation. That is how; these sorts of positive outcomes may result in the project’s success.

d) These types of risks, both positive and negative, may create unexpected expenses. If we think about the real risks, to manage these risks, we should exploit, share and enhance the specific risk, And in case of managing the harmful risks, we should transfer into a better resource-based project or try to mitigate the negative impacts of the project. Both of these efforts can be considered as unexpected expenses.

e) To protect myself against the real risks, I’ll exploit the specific risk. Because operating the risk is about increasing the chances of positive effects, the risk may have on the project. But if it is about the detrimental risks, I’ll try to avoid the risks by doing some activities like delegating tasks, changing the deadline, and increasing the human resources of the project team.

Answer:

11.3%

Explanation:

O'Brien has the following data

rRF= 5%

RPM= 6%

b= 1.10%

Therefore the cost of equity can be calculated as follows.

IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

The options are given below:

a) punctuation

b) interpretation

c) perceptuation

d) conjugation

e) intrepidation

The correct option is A. Punctuation.

Explanation:

To punctuate a communication refers to the interpretation of an ongoing sequence of events by determining that one event is the cause and the resulting event is the response. In a situation with communication, if one thing happens, something else always happens.

In the scenario above, both Shannon and Roger are exemplifying the theory of punctuation, because they each think that their actions are as a result of the actions of the other person.

Answer:

Straight line method result the $14,000 highest net income in 2nd year.

Explanation:

According to the scenario, computation of the given data are as follows:-

Straight Line Method Depreciation Method = (Purchase Value - Residual Value) ÷ Useful Life

= ($22,000 - $2,000) ÷ 5

= $20,000 ÷ 5 = $4,000

Straight Line Method:-

Year Cost($) Dep. Amount/ year Accumulated Dep. Book Value

1   22,000               4,000                  4,000                      18,000

2   22,000               4,000                  8,000                      14,000

3   22,000               4,000                  12,000                      10,000

5   22,000               4,000                  20,000                      2,000

Unit of Production Method:-

Year Cost Units Calculation Of Dep. Dep. Amount/Year Accumulated Dep. Book Value($)

1     22,000  2,000   (22,000-2,000)×2,000÷10,000  4,000    4,000                  18,000

2    22,000  3,000   (22,000-2,000)×3,000÷10,000 6,000 10,000 12,000

3 22,000 2,000 (22,000-2000)×2,000÷10,000 4,000 14,000 8,000

4 22,000 2,000 (22,000-2,000)×2,000÷10,000 4,000 18,000 4,000

5 22,000 1,000 (22,000-2,000)×1,000÷10,000 2,000 20,000 2,000

Total   10,000

Calculation of Depreciation = (Machine Value - Residual Value) × No. of Unit ÷ Total Unit

Straight line method result the $14,000 highest net income in 2nd year.

Consider a bond with a coupon of 5.2 percent, eight years to maturity, and a current price of $1,053.10. Suppose the yield on th
Sindrei [870]

$936.41 is the new price of the bond.

Explanation:

New price of the bond after using the duration is calculated as follows:

Purchase date = 01 june 2016, Maturity date = 01 june 2024, frequency = 1

Face value = $10000, Annual coupon rate = 5.20 percent, Yield to maturity = 6.40 percent,

NPER = 6.688257877

PMT = $52.00

New price of the bond = $936.41 ( rounded to two decimal places)

Note: I have used an excel formula so as to calculate the new price of the bond.
