Answer:

it can jump upto maximum height of 0.29 m

Explanation:

Initial velocity of the Kangaroo when it jumps upwards is given as

v_i = 2.4 m/s

final velocity of the kangaroo is given as

v_f = 0

now we know that acceleration is due to gravity

a = -g

now in order to find maximum height we know that we can use kinematics equation

v_f^2 - v_i^2 = 2a d

0 - 2.4^2 = 2(-9.81) d

d = 0.29 m

so it can jump upto maximum height of 0.29 m

Explain, briefly, what the electrical field inside a microwave oven does to heat food.
yarga [219]

Answer:

Inside the strong metal box, there is a microwave generator called a magnetron. When you start cooking, the magnetron takes electricity from the power outlet and converts it into high-powered, 12cm (4.7 inch) radio waves. Thus the microwaves pass their energy onto the molecules in the food, rapidly heating it up.May 3, 2018
