Which advance in biology resulted from developments in cell technology?
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Immortal cell line

Explanation:

An immortalised cell line is a population of cells from a multicellular organism which would normally not proliferate indefinitely but, due to mutation, have evaded normal cellular operation and instead can keep undergoing division. The cells can therefore be grown for prolonged periods in vitro

Immortal cell lines are a very important tool for research into the biochemistry and cell biology of multicellular organisms. Immortalised cell lines have also found uses in biotechnology.

As the minnow population increases in size, how will its rate of growth affect its population density?
irinina [24]
Well as a population grows, resources become scarcer to accommodate for the growing population. So either the Minnows leave to different areas or they fight for the resources. I have finished BIO a few months ago(maybe more idk) so if I’m incorrect I do apologize, but good luck anyway. :)

Which three of the following are examples of feedback mechanisms which help maintain homeostasis?
vladimir2022 [97]
D. Insulin secretion in response to high blood sugar.

Homeostasis can be described as a tendency of living organisms to maintain a state of stable internal environment. In other words, it is the tendency to resist any change in the optimal conditions for survival.
It is brought by several regulatory mechanisms in the body such as regulation of body temperature, regulation of pH, regulation of osmolarity etc.

Which best describes a difference between transcription and DNA replication?
Akimi4 [234]

Both transcription and DNA replication are essential and significant genetic mechanisms.

Transcription is a process where the genetic material i.e. DNA  is getting converted or transcribed to RNA by an enzyme RNA polymerase.

Whereas the DNA replication is a process where, doubling or copying of DNA  from original DNA (identical replica copies). Which is the basis for biological inheritance.
