I'm not super sure but, I would think it would be a broom and a stone. When you play curling you push a special 'curling stone' across a icy floor and special sweepers to reduce the fiction within the icy floor.

I would use the broom and the stone

Why might a major volcanic eruption lead to cooler global temperatures? Explain your answer.
irina [24]

Answer:

Volcanic eruptions cool down  the planet

Explanation:

Volcanic eruptions actually cool the planet because the particles ejected from volcanoes shade incoming solar radiation. ... The small ash and aerosol particles decrease the amount of sunlight reaching the surface of the Earth and lower average global temperatures.

Hope this helps!!! :D

A car’s 30.0-kg front tire is suspended by a spring with spring constant k=1.00x10^5 N/m. At what speed is the car moving if was
Taya2010 [7]

we know the equation for the period of oscillation in SHM is as follows:

T = 2 * pi * sqrt(mass/k)

we know f = 1/T, so f = 1/(2 * pi) * sqrt(k/m).

since d = v*T, we can say v = d/t = d * f

the final equation, after combining everything, is as follows:

v = d/(2 * pi) * sqrt(k/m)

by plugging everything in

v = .75/(2 * pi) * sqrt((1 * 10^5)/(30))

We find our velocity to be:

v = 6.89 m/s

Fiona claims that the diagram below shows simple machines, but Chad claims that it shows a compound machine.
Elza [17]

Answer:

Simple machine

Explanation:

It is a simple machine because the person wants to raise the load by an inclined plane. Simple machines perform work with the mechanical advantage offered by the machine itself, such as using a bar as Lever, lifting a load by means of a pulley. simple machines multiply or change direction a force. While Composite machines are the Union of several simple machines that perform a given job, examples of combined machines are found on bicycles, a washing machine, a car, and others.
