. A 1.50kg mass on a spring has a displacement as a function of time given by the equation: x(t) = (7.40cm)cos[(4.16s-1)t – 2.42
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

Solution:

we have given the equation of motion is x(t)=8sint [where t in seconds and x in centimeter]

Position, velocity and acceleration are all based on the equation of motion.

The equation represents the position. The first derivative gives the velocity and the 2nd derivative gives the acceleration.

x(t)=8sint

x'(t)=8cost

x"(t)=-8sint

now at time t=2pi/3,

position, x(t)=8sin(2pi/3)=4*squart(3)cm.

velocity, x'(t)=8cos(2pi/3)==4cm/s

acceleration, x"(t)==8sin(2pi/3)=-4cm/s^2

so at present the direction is in y-axis.

Anything that's dropped through air is somewhat affected by air resistance. But, out of that list, the leaf and the balloon are the items that will be affected by air resistance enough so that you can plainly see it.

If you spend some time thinking about it, you can kind of understand why airplane wings and boat propellers are shaped more like leafs and balloons than like bricks and rocks.

A car started from a rest and accelerated at 9.54 m/s2 for 6.5 seconds. How much distance was covered by the car?
ElenaW [278]

Explanation:

S =ut + 1/2at^2

S = 0×6.5 + (1/2 × 9.54) × 6.5^2

S =0 + 4.77 ×42.25

S=201.5m

Please help me! Uniform acceleration problem sheet:
Brrunno [24]

From the calculation, the value of the acceleration is 5.8 m/s^2.

What is uniform acceleration?

The term uniform acceleration refers to a situation in which the velocity increases by equal amounts in equal time intervals.

Given the fact that the car started from rest and reached a velocity of 780.34 mph or 348.84 m/s in 1 minute of 60 seconds;

v = u + at

a = v/t

a = 348.84 m/s/ 60 seconds

a = 5.8 m/s^2

How is a wave of red light different from a wave of purple?
adoni [48]
Our eyes perceive different wavelengths of light as the rainbow hues of colors. Red light has relatively long waves, around 700 nm long. Blue and purple light have short waves, around 400 nm. Shorter waves vibrate at higher frequencies and have higher energies.

Hope it helps.
