As temperatures increases, liquid water molecules become more energetic and can change to water vapor in a process called evaporation.

As temperature increases, water molecules absorbs more amount of heat and that increases amount of heat, changes water from liquid state to vapor state. And this process of change of water phase due to increase temperature is called as evaporation.

In everyday speech, the words precision and accuracy are often used interchangeably. When these terms are used in science, are t
zvonat [6]

Answer:

            No, in science their meanings are not the same as their everyday meanings.

Explanation:

                   In Science, Precision and Accuracy are defined as,

Accuracy:

               Accuracy is the value which is closest to the known or standard value.

Precision:

                While, Precision is the value of closeness of two measured values to each other.

Example:

             Let suppose in Chemistry Lab you weight an object as 50 g. While the actual weight of that object is 30 g. It means your reading is not accurate.

             On second measurement you find that the object weight is 31 g. This time your reading is not precise.

A pumpkin has a volume of 10 cm and a mass of 8 g. what is the density of the pumpkin
cricket20 [7]

Answer: 0.8g/cm^3

Explanation:

In seeing your problem, I see an issue with your units for centimeter. The volume is in the third dimension, so we use cm^3 every single time for the volume. That way, we can arrive to the correct density (in g/cm^3)

Density = mass/volume and so

Density = 8g/10cm^3

= 0.8g/cm^3

A balloon is filled with 0.250 mole of air at 35°C. If the volume of the balloon is 6.23 liters, what is the absolute pressure o
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

102.807 kPa

Explanation:

There are some assumptions to be made in the answer. The air inside the balloon acts as an ideal gas at a given temperature conditions.

Using the combined ideal gas equation.

PV = nRT\\

P= absolute pressure of air inside the balloon.

V= volume of air inside the balloon (6.23 L= 6.23 * 10⁻³ m³)

n= moles of gas(air). (0.250 mol)

R= Universal gas constant ( 8.314 J / mol·K)

T= Temperature in Kelvin

T= 35 + 273.15 = 308.15 K

So, P = \frac{nRT}{V}

P = \frac{0.250 * 8.314 * 308.15}{6.23 * 10^{-3} }

P= 102.807 * 10³ Pa

P= 102.807 kPa
