3 0

Answer:

3(3x^3-8)

Step-by-step explanation:

3x^3+6x^3 = 9x^3 (you sure it's not 6x^2??)

if not then 9x^3-24

3(3x^-8)

BUT

if it's 3x^3+6x^2-24

then 3(x^3+2x^2-8)

^-^

Translating a sentence into a multi-step equation
Kryger [21]

Answer:7x-4= 3

Step-by-step explanation:

4 less than the product of 7 and a number is equal to 3.

The answer is 7x-4= 3 beacuse:

(a. whenever you have something less than , the first number in the sentence (in this cacse 4) goes after the second number (in this case 7) with a subtraction sign in the middle. (imagine this equation looking like 7-4 for now).Thats a little trick i use whenever i have to write "something less than something"

(b. okay so now we know it has to be 7 times somethig -4=3, but now we just need to write the "product of 7 and a number" in proper form. in other words, whenever you get somethig times a number, it is always going to be that number with an x right next to it. so thats why i made it 7x.

(c. "equals 3" is easy because you just turn it into an "=3".

(d. Now put it together. "4 less than the product of 7 and a number is equal to 3." becomes 7x-4=3.

Hope this helps :)) Also brainliest would be appreciated, worked pretty hard on this ! :D

Someone explain and help plsss
fenix001 [56]

Answer:

(-1, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint is the halfway point. So, if M is the midpoint of PQ, then simply take the distance between your P and M co-ordinates and apply that one more time to get to Q.

Your x value at point M is 5, and your x value at point P is 11.

11 and 5 are 6 units apart.

Since M is in the middle of P and Q, M is therefore 6 units apart from both P and Q on the x-axis, so we can subtract 6 from 5 to find Q's x co-ordinate of -1.

Your y value at point M is -2, and your y value at point P is -10.

-10 and -2 are 8 units apart.

Add 8 to M to find your y co-ordinate at point Q of 6.

Your Q point is at (-1, 6).
