This seems kind of hard but for 9 here is it.

19,26,36,53,65,72 I know my reasoning might be confusing but:

(19 + 7= 26) (26 + 10 = 36) ( 36 + 17 = 53) (53 + 12 = 65) (65 + 7 = 72) I think the pattern is 7, 10, 17, 12.

10: 11,20,30,39,53,63 reason:

(30 + 9 = 39) (39 + 14 = 53) (53 + 10 = 63) So I think the pattern is 9, 14, 10

I hope I helped. You seemed in need for help so... :) and If I got it wrong, let me know.

Compare these two functions. Which
has the greater rate of change?
y= -6x + 7
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

y = -6x + 7 has greater rate of change

Step-by-step explanation:

for the first one, the rate of change is -6x and for the second one, the rate of change is -5x so the rate of change for y = -6x + 7 is greater.

Use the formula y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 to find the slop for the second equation. the second equation is y = -5x

How many roots does a quadratic have if the discriminant if prime?
scZoUnD [109]

"The discriminant is prime?" I haven't heard that one before.

Here are the general rules:

1. a positive discriminant results in two real, unequal roots.

2. a zero discr. results in two real, equal roots.

3. a negative discr. results in two complex roots, which sometimes means two imaginary roots.

Is this a proportional relationship? Please help!
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

If you draw a line, it will not go through the origin and there isn't a constant rate of change.
