Answer:

-973 KJ

Explanation:

The balanced reaction equation is;

N2H4(aq) + 2Cl2(g) + 4OH^-(aq)---------> 4Cl-(aq) + 4H ^+(aq) + 4OH^-(aq) + N2(g)

Reduction potential of hydrazine = -1.16 V

Reduction potential of chlorine = 1.36 V

From;

E°cell= E°cathode - E°anode

E°cell= 1.36 - (-1.16)

E°cell= 2.52 V

∆G°=- nFE°cell

n= number of moles of electrons = 4

F= Faraday's constant = 96500 C

E°cell = 2.52 V

∆G°=- (4 × 96500 × 2.52)

∆G°= -972720 J

∆G°= -972.72 KJ

Sixty miles/hour is how many ft/sec
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]
88 foot per second.
5280 feet = 1 mile

5280 × 60 = 316800

316800 feet per hour

3600 seconds = 1 hour

316800 feet per 3600 seconds

316800 ÷ 3600 = 88

88 feet per second

The following experiment was performed: A white solid was added to a test tube containing water. The solid completely dissolved
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

Potassium iodide

Explanation:

The white solid introduced into the solution is potassium bromide. This is an ionic solid thus it quickly dissolves in water to yield a colorless solution.

When chlorine is added to this solution, the iodine is displaced since chlorine is above iodine in the electrochemical series.

When mixed with hexane, the color of the solution changes to purple.

What are the similarities and differences between living on Earth versus living in space?
alina1380 [7]

Answer:

Differences

• Space is everything in the universe beyond the top of Earth's atmosphere - The moon, Stars, Milky way, etc.

• In space, no one can hear you scream. This is because there is no air in space, i.e, it's vacuum.

• Earth is a planet on solar system. It is the only planet where life exists!!

• Earth is also called "blue sky" cause it has 75% water.

Similarities

•They need oxygen for survival: Man, animals in earth and space need oxygen for survival.

•Water is also need to stay alive.

•Food is very paramount to both man, animal s and organisms.

•Shelter, we all ned a place to lay our head in other to be safe.

•Air everywhere in the atmosphere.

•Water, air, food and shelter are available on earth but their availability differs in space.

•Astronaut need to bring everything one need in space with him or her from Earth. They often recycle the things they bring.

Hope it helps :)

<span>For the answer to the question above,
If 3g of element combines with 8g of D to form CD it means
1 mole of C = 3g
1 mole of D = 8g
hence it forms CD.
So to form CD2 you need 16g of element D
